Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele put in their best to ensure the Blaugrana overturned the first-leg deficit, beating Levante 3-0.
After losing 2-1 to Levante in the first leg, Barcelona started well and eventually took the lead on the half hour mark. Lionel Messi dispossessed the Levante back line and then slid in Dembele who levelled the tie on aggregate.
Few moments later, Messi and Dembele combined effort again with the Frenchman calming to round goalkeeper Raul Fernandez, before slotting the ball in.
Levante survived Coutinho’s disallowed effort, but they couldn’t stop the ball from going in again in the 54th minute. Messi exchanged passes with Dembele and then slotted the ball underneath Fernandez to end Levante’s hope.
Levante’s best chance came to Emmanuel Boateng, but his effort hit the side netting. It was a one-sided game, with Barcelona comfortably reaching the last eight.
