Thierry Henry Suspended after coaching Monaco for three months

On Thursday, Monaco announced the suspension of Thierry Henry with Leonardo Jardim to take over the same job position he vacated for the Arsenal legend three months ago.

Monaco, who were French champions for 2017 are presently in the relegation zone after winning just five games in all competitions. The club announced that Henry’s assistant Franck Passi will be coordinating the training on Friday.

This is Henry’s first role as a manager after being appointed assistant manager of Belgium’s national team. In October 2018, the former Barcelona forward and world cup winner was shortlisted for the manager position at Aston Villa, before resuming duties at the club where he began his soccer career.
