The world’s oldest living person


Japanese woman, Kane Tanaka has finally being recognized by the global authority on records. She has been honoured as the oldest living person in the world by Guinness World Records.

The woman who is said to be 116 years old, was celebrated at a nursing home in Fukuoka in Japan’s south. Her family members and Mayor were also present at the celebration

Tanka who is the seventh among eight children was born January 2nd, 1903. She got married to Hideo Tanaka, had four kids and also adopted another.

The 116 year old enjoys playing the board game “Othello” and also enjoys studying maths
