The Police command of Kaduna State has revealed that it has arrested at least 172 suspects for involving themselves in several forms of malpractices during the state’s general election held recently.
This was contained in a statement by DSP Yakubu Sabo (the Public Relations Officer of the Command) on Friday.

Other offences are: possessing multiple temporary and permanent voter cards, criminal conspiracy, political thuggery, theft of INEC materials, possessing dangerous weapons unlawfully, inciting disturbances among others.
Some exhibits were recovered from the 172 suspects which include: 39 permanent and temporary voter cards, a pair of army trouser, 100 pieces of INEC observers jackets and 99,466 pieces of tamper-evident envelopes for used ballot papers.
