Police revealed that Laura Hurst was strangled to death by a 8-foot python in a home containing 140 snakes.
The mother, 36, was found dead in her home with the massive snake curled around her neck in Indiana on 30th October.
The home is owned by Don Munson (the Benton County Sheriff), which was set up basically for snake collection.
According to Sergeant Kim (Indiana State Police spokesman), Hurst housed about twenty (20) of her snakes in her home and paid them visits twice every week.
Sheriff Munson who lives next to the reptile house reportedly saw the late mother at her home on Wednesday. As per reports from Metro UK, Riley revealed that someone found Hurst later the same night lying lifeless on the floor with a python wrapped around her neck.
Authorities revealed that an autopsy will be conducted on Friday.
