Barcelona Contact Francisco Trincão during Lockdown


Right now, Francisco Trincão is really eager and can’t wait to move to FC Barcelona, which will be effective from 1st July 2020.

Yesterday, Barcelona FC organized a Live Call on its official YouTube Channel, which the Portuguese winger took part in. He answered some questions concerning the current lockdown, what he is as a player. Some of his responses are highlighted below:

Concerning the lockdown in Portugal, he said: “I am home with my parents and my sister. I want to encourage everyone to stay at home, everything will turn out fine”  

Regarding his day to day activities, he said: “I get up early, have breakfast and then train as before. In the afternoon I go on the play station, I watch television and in the evening I read. I try to follow the same routine as before”  

When asked about how he trains he revealed saying: “I train with my parents but we do different exercises. I follow the plan given to me by Braga whilst my parents run or go on the static bike”  

Concerning Barça and what the future holds, Francisco Trincão said: “I am really looking forward to wearing the shirt of the best club in the world and sharing a dressing room with the best players in the world. I want to learn from Leo Messi, he is one of my heroes. I have spoken to Antoine Griezmann; he sent me a message: ‘vamos caralho!’ it said.

“At Barça I hope to bring my skill, my left foot and my youth. I think the fans will enjoy it with me (laughs). “I work hard and I am strong mentally, I try to score and create and I like taking players on. Also, I always try to help the team”  

He also shared some information about his Personal life. He said:

“Apart from football, I like to play table tennis. I prefer documentaries to films. For example, I really liked the one about McGregor [UFC fighter, Conor McGregor], which shows his day to day life, what he does, what he thinks” “A book; ‘The Magic of Thinking Big’. I loved it”  “Music: I like That’s What I Like, Tu amiga, a song that also helps me learn Spanish”
