Despite that he is late, Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole has gained recognition as he gets named for the Bravery Award. This is in line with how the deceased died in the process of saving a woman having fallen at the Thames.
According to the London Police, the deceased heroic deeds deserved recognition because he was selfless. The late 20-year-old hero displayed an act of bravery while trying to save the woman.
According to a Spokesperson of the City of London Police, Jimi’s memory deserves this honor. In the light of that, they reached out to the Royal Humane Society to honor the late man. Olubunmi-Adewole deserves a remarkable commissioner’s approbation. Speaking further, the spokesman disclosed that their heart goes to both family and friends of the deceased during such a tough time.

Meanwhile, Jimi’s family has described him as someone whose legacy lives on because he is irreplaceable. This came after the revelation of the plans.
On the fateful day of the sad event, Jimi was coming back from work. Until his untimely death, he worked with a London restaurant. He saw the woman fall into the Thames at midnight. Instantly, he tried saving her by getting into the water with some man.
Afterward, the woman and some men were rescued by the coastguard. It was later around 6 am the following day that the they found the lifeless body of the deceased . His father, Michael Adewole, revealed that his son was always ready to come to people’s aid whenever there was the opportunity . However, his mother, Mrs. Olasunkanmi Adewole stated that her son was her strength and backbone.
Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole was described as a very courageous man who touched lives until his demise.
